Web and Digital provides various training options to help clients create and maintain their digital content.

The Training We Offer

The University Communications web team only offers training relating to the services we administer and govern for academic enterprise areas: Cascade CMS and the University's digital signage software. There are many other services in other University areas that may not be offered by our team.

Cascade CMS Training

Cascade CMS “Basic” Training is now available online, and is mandatory to gain CMS access. This requires reviewing the Basic Training Guide and taking a verification quiz. New users are guided through the essentials of the content management system, including, but not limited to, an overview of the CMS, explanation of common terms, navigating through the CMS, and creating content.

Digital Signage Training

Digital Signage software training is available upon request. The training is designed for content managers who are planning on or are currently handling their department's digital signs.  Participants will get a detailed walk through of the management software, as well as learn how to upload, manage, and deploy content. One-on-one training or traditional instructor-led (more than one user) sessions are available.
